About this guide

This guide will help you find information on music to support research projects in AS2000 Humanities I: Musical Notes, or for general interest. We suggest a few starting points to find books, articles, and images. Please contact a Corcoran Library staff member for help in finding additional resources.

The Corcoran Library has several resources on music, but a wealth of information can be found at the District of Columbia Public Library (DCPL), where you can check out books, CDs, & DVDs, and download ebooks, audio books, music, & movies. You may apply for your DCPL card online if you are a resident of DC or surrounding counties in Maryland and Virginia. You will need to present a photo ID plus a document with your current address, either a utility bill or your Corcoran course registration. Get a DCPL card
